- Humanities Receptions (fall and spring to acquaint students w/the major
- Career Forum (Alumni invitational-alumni return to share career choices with Humanities majors)
- Advent Reception
- Humanities Student Organized Movie Night (once a semester)
- Student Teacher Fathering in Humanities Commons (occurs twice a week between the Gateway courses)
- Various outside speakers are co-sponsored by the Department
- Senior Dinner (every May for graduating seniors
