We have a welcoming and inclusive community. Villanova University is a Catholic university founded by the Order of Saint Augustine. It seeks to create a diverse community of scholars, united and dedicated to the highest academic standards while being committed to the Augustinian ideals of truth, unity, and love. The University community welcomes and respects members of all faiths, cultures, and traditions. We concern ourselves with developing and nurturing the whole person, allowing students to grow intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, culturally, socially, and physically in an environment that supports individual differences and insists that mutual respect should animate every aspect of university life.
The University’s Office of International Student Services assists students from outside the United States in adjusting to Villanova and the surrounding community. The Office provides information and advice about visas and immigration, housing and employment, health care, and other questions related to living and studying in the United States.
