The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important holidays for the Chinese people, and for many other East Asian peoples. Traditionally, Chinese family members and friends will gather together to celebrate this holiday on the 15th, which marks autumn in the lunar calendar when the moon is supposedly at its fullest and roundest. The most popular activity during this holiday is to admire the bright moon with one’s family and friends while enjoying moon cakes of different varieties. Refreshments will be served!
