The College of Liberal Arts provides space on our SAN server (Storage Area Network) to store research related data. The advantages of this system are the ability to access the data from multiple computers, the redundancy of the server hard drives (RAID 5 array and backup to tape) and security permissions. Please fill out the form correctly to request research space on the server.
If you only need to store Word, Excel, Powerpoint files and/or need many students to access your research or labs files, SharePoint may be a better alternative.
