Welcome to the Department of Education & Counseling at Villanova University.
The Department prepares teachers, human service providers, counselors, supervisors and administrators. Through its certification and licensure programs, the Department combines theory with practical experience in school and community settings to help improve the quality of the lives of others.
Our department offers undergraduate majors in Secondary Education and Human Services, as well as Educational Minors. Partnered with the Office of Part-Time Studies, we additionally offer a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in General Studies that includes teacher certification. We also offer a graduate program with the following master's programs: Counseling, Graduate Education, Teacher Leadership, and Master's Plus Teacher Certification. To further your education, we also offer a Post-Master's program with concentrations in Counseling, and a Post-Master's certificate in Teacher Leadership.
