The Chemistry Department occupies 35,000 square feet on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Mendel Hall at Villanova University. The Department has suites of instructional laboratories, each designed for a different subdiscipline of chemistry with specialized instrumentation and facilities. In particular, Chemistry majors are taught in their own specialized laboratory space complete with modern instrumentation, promoting faculty-student interactions and personalized instruction.
Mendel Hall was expanded and completely renovated in 1998. The building is completely WiFi enabled, and all classrooms include Power Point projectors and complete audio/visual facilities.
