This is an interdisciplinary program, open to all students in all degree programs. Students must complete the required 18 hours for the Concentration in addition to fulfilling the requirements of their major. They will maintain a portfolio of all the papers they have written throughout their course of studies in the Concentration.
At the end of their first semester senior year, they will undergo an oral exam which both reviews the course material they have taken thus far, as well as lays the ground work for the research they will undergo in their capstone experience. The oral examination will be administered by three professors: Tthe Director of the Concentration, and two professors who have taught them during their course of studies for the Concentration.
