The Phi Kappa Phi ribbon is a meander pattern, common in ancient Greek art and symbolic of the classical features of the Society.
Hello, my name is Larry Little, associate professor of History, and president of the Villanova University Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Welcome to our website!
Phi Kappa Phi honor society rewards academic excellence; no more, no less. By accessing this website, you are demonstrating an equal interest in academic achievement. Hopefully, our requirements and your performance overlap; we accept the top 10% of the senior class and the top 7.5% of the junior class. If you meet those standards, you will be receiving induction materials from us in January or February, and we would be honored if you would join us. As members of Phi Kappa Phi, you will be eligible to partake in all of the benefits of membership, including the chance to compete for scholarships for graduate study. If you don’t quite meet the standards, but you are close and an underclassman, keep trying! We will be pulling for you. Either way, the greatest benefit of our college career is our education, and by your accomplishments in that are I am glad to see that you consider your educational experience as important as all of us in the society do.
If you are a previous inductee, thank you for your continued interest in the society. We are striving to remain an active and vigorous chapter here at Villanova, and we would appreciate any input you have that could allow us to grow and prosper. Please feel free to contact us through this website if you have any questions or comments concerning the society. This goes for any potential inductees as well!
Again, I want to thank you for your interest in academics in general, and in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in particular. We all hope to hear from you!
