New England Region: Join the Reed Family Challenge!

Kristin '88 and Tyson '88 Reed serve as Co-Chairs of the New England Campaign Committee. The Reeds are longtime supporters of Villanova University and have launched the Reed Family Challenge to help generate support from the New England region. Kristin and Tyson hope this will help increase multi-year pledges from New England donors in the final year of For the Greater Great®: The Villanova Campaign to Ignite Change.

The Challenge goal is to gain 25 new multi-year pledges from the New England Region by May 31, 2018. Kristin and Tyson have agreed to give $50,000 for every five new multi-year commitments secured at the President's Club, President's Club Associates or Young Alumni Circle levels for a total contribution of $250,000.

The Challenge is open to alumni, parents, and friends who live in Villanova’s New England region, including: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Donors can choose to support any designation or designations through their gifts.

About the Reed Family

Kristin and Tyson Reed have been dedicated Villanova alumni since they graduated from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1988. They are also proud Villanova parents—their daughter, Jacalyn, graduated from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2015, their son Tyson Jr, just completed his freshman year and their son Patrick will enroll at Villanova this summer and will be a member of the football team.

From attending Villanova Basketball games to hosting Villanova events in their home, the Reeds continue to share their Villanova pride with others. Now, as Co-Chairs of the New England Campaign Committee, the Reeds are leading the effort to increase support for Villanova students and programs from alumni, parents and friends in the region. Recognizing the special impact that multi-year commitments have on the University’s ability to seize opportunities and implement new initiatives, the Reeds made a $250,000 pledge to launch the Reed Family Challenge. Their goal is to help Villanova gain 25 new multi-year pledges from the New England region.
