ANNUAL GIVING SOCIETIES

President's Club

President’s Club members bring distinction to the University and provide support for thousands of current students through exemplary annual gifts of $2,500 or more. Gifts from President’s Club members help achieve greater goals for the University: providing educational opportunities for our students, enhancing the curriculum and advancing the University’s Strategic Plan.

Benefits include:

  • Opportunities to engage with our President and University leadership
  • Special communications about new initiatives
  • Helping thousands of students fulfill their potential

By joining the President’s Club, and by renewing your membership each year, you can make a powerful, lasting statement about the value of investing in Villanova.

President's Club Associates

Villanova launched the President’s Club Associates as a way to involve more recent undergraduate alumni in the future of the University.

All undergraduate alumni of the past 15 years are eligible to join by making an annual gift of $1,000 or more to Villanova. Benefits are the same as those enjoyed by President’s Club members.

Your decision to become a President’s Club Associate will ensure that we will always have the resources required to provide the best opportunity for our students and their Villanova experiences.

The Young Alumni Circle offers undergraduates of the past 10 years a way to give back through incremental levels of support each fiscal year. Members help raise the bar for academics, athletics and student life, making the Villanova experience ever more valuable and meaningful.

As a part of this annual giving society, members receive special invitations to exclusive events, such as the Homecoming President’s Reception, Father Peter’s Christmas Party, young alumni game watches and more.

Young Alumni Circle Gift Levels:

  • 1 year post-graduation: $100 annual gift
  • 2 years post-graduation: $200 annual gift
  • 3 years post-graduation: $300 annual gift
  • 4 years post-graduation: $400 annual gift
  • 5-10 years post-graduation: $500 annual gift

With over 13,000 members, the Villanova Loyalty Society is the annual giving society that recognizes donors who give for three or more consecutive fiscal years. This emphasizes the constant support of our alumni (undergraduate, graduate and law), parents, friends, faculty and staff.

Gifts of any amount, designated to any area, for three or more consecutive fiscal years qualify for Loyalty Society membership. Senior Class Gift donors are recognized as Loyalty Society members and can renew their membership by giving each fiscal year.

The Veritas Society for Young Alumni recognizes Villanova Law JD graduates of the last 10 years who make annual gifts of $500 or more to any area of the Charles Widger School of Law.

Membership benefits include:

  • Recognition as a member of the Veritas Society for Young Alumni in the online Honor Roll of Donors.
  • Special communications and invitations to events featuring Law and University leadership.
  • Invitation to the Donor Reception with Arthur J. Kania Dean Mark C. Alexander during Villanova Law Reunion Weekend.

LIFETIME GIVING SOCIETIES

Inaugurated in October 2013, The Matthew Carr Society recognizes Villanova University’s most generous benefactors who have made lifetime gifts totaling $1 million or more. We are privileged to have not just a few, but dozens of alumni, parents, and friends who qualify for this honor through their extraordinary philanthropy.

The Carr Society is named after the Rev. Matthew Carr, OSA, who established the first Augustinian community in Philadelphia. Father Carr was also a bold and successful fundraiser; his dream was to build a church, and within a year, he had gathered enough financial support—including gifts from George Washington and Commodore Barry—to finance the project.

Like Father Carr, the members of this society share the same vision, spirit, and strength in laying the bedrock for a greater Villanova.

In 1968, the Hall of Heritage was created to honor those individuals who have pledged generous, lasting gifts to Villanova University that extend beyond a lifetime. Today, the 1842 Heritage Society is composed of alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends who support the University through estate gifts, life-income gifts or the transfer of assets.

Donors of all ages and income levels have expressed their wishes for the future of Villanova through their participation in the 1842 Heritage Society. We invite you to become a part of this tradition. Membership is voluntary.

Visit the Gift and Estate Planning website for more information.

The Caritas Society is a lifetime giving recognition society that honors the loyal alumni, parents and friends who provide consistent, unfailing support to Villanova University for 20 or more consecutive years

Gifts of any amount, to support any area of the University, count toward membership in the Caritas Society.

The Reuschlein Society recognizes donors who have made lifetime gifts totaling $100,000 or more to Villanova Law.

Named in honor of founding dean Harold Gill Reuschlein, the Reuschlein Society honors the School's most generous supporters. This extraordinary commitment bolsters Villanova Law’s ability to provide high quality legal education to today’s students.
