An Invitation to Parents
When students join the Villanova University community, they begin a journey that challenges them to grow. It is a transforming experience that extends beyond the classroom and into residence halls, learning communities, and co-curricular activities. Helping students make connections between the classroom and the community is at the heart of student life at Villanova. This shared value of “community” at Villanova was the inspiration behind the formation of the Parents Program.
There’s no doubt parents play a vital role in their sons’ and daughters’ education during childhood, and this support and involvement actively continues through higher education. For this reason, parents are encouraged to participate in campus activities, and to collaborate with administrators, as they work together to bring new ideas and resources to the University. All parents are invited to become involved as their sons and daughters work toward their degrees, strive for success, and prepare to transform the world around them.
