My experiences at Villanova helped shape me into the person that I am today, and I am proud to call myself a Villanovan. The lifelong friendships I created, the indelible memories I made and the top-notch education I received are only a few of the things that come to mind when I reflect back on my days on campus. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Villanova, and it is important to me to do my part to ensure that future generations of students are afforded similar experiences.
Last year, I had the privilege to serve as co-chair of my 10-Year Reunion Committee. That opportunity motivated me to become more involved with giving back to the University, knowing that every little bit counts. Inspired by the impressive students and committed alumni, volunteers and donors we have met, my husband John and I recently made the decision to increase our giving. We committed to endowing a scholarship to benefit students in the Villanova School of Business, a part of the University very near and dear to my heart.
We were able to make this pledge possible through a matching gift from my employer, Johnson & Johnson, and the incredible generosity of the Luckow family, who sponsors a Scholarship Challenge at Villanova.
I choose to give back to Villanova to show my gratitude to the school that gave so much to me. I have an overwhelming sense of appreciation for the education I received, the opportunities I was offered and the life lessons I learned. My way of saying “thank you” is to pay it forward, and I feel fortunate to be able to do so.
