The Office of University Development at Villanova seeks to involve alumni, friends, parents, corporations, foundations, and other benefactors and partners who want to provide opportunities for new students and believe in the importance of vibrant educational experiences grounded in the University’s Catholic and Augustinian values. The involvement Villanova seeks includes, but also goes well beyond, financial commitments and forming genuine partnerships that will serve all participants, while also supporting the four goals outlined in the University’s academic plan:
- Transformational and enriched undergraduate education, supported through scholarships, state-of-the-art classrooms, dynamic programs, and personal growth opportunities that will attract students to Villanova from across the country
- Graduate education and a culture of discovery, working interactively with the undergraduate educational program to prepare advanced students to meet the challenges of the future
- Faculty development that continues the tradition of inspired teaching and builds on it to foster complementary research initiatives
- Community service and partnership programs that link to real-world environments in which students develop intellectually, spiritually, and socially
