Do I need to register in advance?

Registration will open in late March and is mandatory for on-campus housing. We strongly encourage pre-registration for all events to ensure proper space and meal planning. Walk-ups at events will be accommodated on a space-available basis.

Please note that no walk-ups will be accepted for Supernova and pre-registration is required.

What credit cards can I use to pay for registration?

We accept American Express, VISA, and MasterCard. We do not accept Discover Card.

Can I reserve a table at an event?

Our experience has been that assigning seating and/or reserving tables in advance does not work well. Class banners, tents and table cards will indicate general areas to facilitate locating your classmates. At all events, there will be extra seating so that you and your friends can sit together. On-time arrival will help with seating preferences.

How will I know that my registration has been received and processed?

When you register, you will be sent a confirmation via email. Please retain this email for your records as it indicates the events and on-campus housing (if applicable) you selected. If you have misplaced your confirmation email, you can call 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266) or email alumni@villanova.edu to request another one.

Are refunds allowed?

Cancellations up until May 23, 2018 will be refunded. For cancellations or adjustments to your registration, please contact the Alumni Office at 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266) or alumni@villanova.edu.

ON-CAMPUS HOUSING REGISTRATION

Can I purchase more than one room/apartment when I register?

No. Each registrant may only purchase one room/apartment.

If I don't know who my other room/apartment guest(s) will be, can I still purchase a room/apartment?

If you do not know who your guests will be, you can still register for Reunion events, but you may not purchase any on-campus rooms/apartments until you have all of your guests' names.

Once you know who your guests will be, you can purchase a room/apartment - if still available - by logging back into the Reunion registration form, emailing alumni@villanova.edu or calling 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266).

Please note that the West Campus apartments will sell out very quickly. Therefore, to ensure you receive an apartment, we strongly recommend determining your guests before Reunion registration opens in late March.

If my original room/apartment guests have changed, what should I do?

If the guests in your room/apartment will be different than the individuals you listed when you registered, email alumni@villanova.edu or call 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266) as soon as you know the new guest(s) names so that we can provide room keys for each guest.

How can I request a handicap-accessible room?

There is a limited number of handicap-accessible apartments in each West Campus building. On the Reunion registration form, you will have the option to request a handicap-accessible room.

Any additional housing needs should be directed to 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266) or alumni@villanova.edu.

How do I know what residence hall/apartment I am assigned to?

Upon your arrival to campus, go to the Alumni Center in Garey Hall to receive your room assignment and keys. Registration hours will be listed on the Reunion Events Schedule.

What if I arrive on campus outside of On-Campus Housing registration hours?

If you have registered for on-campus housing and arrive after registration hours, there will be instructions at the Alumni Center in Garey Hall as well as at residence hall doors for where to report to pick up your room keys.

Do I need to stop at the Alumni Center to check out of my room?

No. Upon moving out of your room, you do not need to stop at the Alumni Center - you can simply pack your belongings and depart! Room keys may either be discarded or left in your room.

WHO CAN ATTEND

All Class Years

Villanova alumni from all class years are invited to attend Reunion! For 2017, members of class years ending in 3 or 8 will have special reunion events, but nearly every single other event is open to all alumni from all class years.

Families & Guests

Spouses, children, other family members and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend Reunion!

Pets

With the exception of seeing-eye dogs, pets are not permitted to attend. If you or someone in your party will be bringing a seeing-eye dog, please contact us at alumni@villanova.edu or 1-800-VILLANOVA (1-800-845-5266).

Children

With the exception of the Class Parties and Supernova, Reunion events are child-friendly. The Picnic on Saturday will include entertainment for children (face painter, balloon artist, lawn games, etc), the Wildcat mascot and Student-Athletes.

Find Out Who Else is Attending

On the online registration form, there will be a link for you to click and see who else is attending. To obtain contact information for another alumnus/a before Reunion, you may look them up via the Alumni Directory.

WHAT TO BRING

Apartments and residence halls are supplied with basic pillows, bed linens, towels, washcloths and a limited supply of blankets (housekeeping services are not provided during the weekend).

Apartments and residence halls can be cold in the evening. We strongly recommend you bring extra blankets and warm attire, as the blanket furnished for each bed is a simple one and there are very few extras available. Extra blankets - if available - will be left in the Klekotka Hall lobby on West Campus. Click here for instructions on how to shut off the A/C in your West Campus apartment if it is too cold.

Only basic, limited personal care items such as soap, shampoo, toilet tissue and hangers are provided, so we recommend that you bring any additional items you anticipate needing.

Apartment kitchens and kitchenettes do not come with any kitchen supplies (utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, etc.). You must bring your own of these items if you anticipate using them.

Help us in our efforts to preserve the environment! We encourage you to bring your own refillable water bottle and refill it at one of our Hydration Stations.

WHAT TO WEAR

Prior to departing for campus, make sure to consult the weather forecast and plan your attire accordingly. A jacket or sweater is strongly recommended as the buildings can be cold in the evening.

Temperatures may vary by room and venue, so for your own comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers.

Recommended attire for special events is listed below. For all other daytime events, casual attire is appropriate.

  • Class of 1967 Kickoff Reception - Business Casual
  • Reunion University - Business Casual
  • President's Lunch - Business/Business Casual
  • Class Dinner Receptions - Business/Cocktail
  • Some food/beverage service areas and seating areas are outside and others are inside - we recommend dressing for both indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Family Picnic - Casual (a great place to break out your Villanova hats, shirts, and other Wildcat gear!)
  • Vigil Mass/Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony - Business/Cocktail
  • Donor Recognition Reception - Business/Cocktail
  • Supernova "Dinner Dance" - Business/Cocktail
