Student Advancement Ambassadors

Student Advancement Ambassadors (SAA) is an undergraduate student group overseen by University Advancement and co-advised by the Alumni Relations and Annual Giving teams.


Our mission is to advance Villanova University through programs and initiatives that enhance the student experience, foster meaningful student-alumni relationships, promote school spirit and traditions, and cultivate a sense of loyalty to Villanova. The three main goals of the Student Advancement Ambassadors are to educate, empower and engage students and alumni.

  • Educate: Serve as experts to educate peers on engagement and philanthropy efforts across campus.
  • Empower: Empower the larger student body as leaders to create a lasting legacy on campus.
  • Engage: Show pride, encourage school spirit and support a sense of community that engages students and alumni long past graduation.


As part of the Student Advancement Ambassadors, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Attend select local and regional University Advancement events
  • Network and collaborate with peers and alumni
  • Gain valuable volunteer and leadership experience
  • Have fun and make a difference at Villanova

The Student Advancement Ambassadors work closely with our student volunteers on the Senior Class Gift (SCG) committee, which strives to cultivate a culture of philanthropy on campus.
