A Special Group Visit includes a 30 minute information session, with video, followed by a one hour student guided walking tour. Please submit your request at least three weeks prior to your proposed visit (see below) and wait for confirmation as visits are not guaranteed. Due to the large requests for special groups visiting campus, we are unable to provide transportation or overnight accommodations during your visit.
During the summer (May 30 to August 15), Special Group Visits are available Monday through Thursday at 9:30 AM or 1:00 PM (with the exception of Wednesday afternoons and Fridays), followed by a walking tour at 10:00 AM or 1:30 PM (no Wednesday afternoons or Fridays). You may opt for a tour only at the designated times.

Requirements
To participate in a Special Group Visit, students must be from a high school or organization that caters to this population age group and limited to no more than fifty (50) students.
Chaperone Policy
The University requires that the following supervisory ratio must be adhered to: minors ranging from 15 – 18 years of age must have one (1) adult chaperone for every ten (10) minors. In order to have the best possible experience, we limit the groups to a maximum of fifty (50) students. Unruly and/or disrespectful behavior will result in the immediate request to leave campus and the organization will forfeit the opportunity to return in the future.
Participant Waiver and Release Form
The University requires that all Philadelphia School District minors* submit a Participant Waiver and Release Form signed by the parent/guardian of the participant. Upon confirmation of the request, follow-up information will be provided.
Confirmation
The Office of University Admission will respond to your on-line request approximately within a week of submission. Visits will be approved based on availability.
NOTE: Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for your arrival to campus. Groups arriving 15 minutes late will proceed directly to a campus tour and forgo the information session. Unfortunately, if your group arrives more than a half-hour past your designated time, we will not be able to offer a campus tour due to time constraints of our student volunteers.
* In the event that exceptions are made to the Special Group Visit Policy, additional information will be required.
